Having completed other courses on dog training I was left with a big piece, the central piece of the dog training puzzle still missing. We know how to educate kids and it works for 98% of the population, why is training dogs so hard? Where are the trained dogs, they are so few and far between, why do trainers not have their own dogs with them in classes? I was determined to have my dog with me and even got a GSD so that I could demonstrate on a large, notoriously hard breed.

To say I was sceptical about what yet another dog trainer’s course had to offer is an understatement. However, my search had to continue.

Then I came across Greg Fontana at Alpha Dog Training. He has it, the answer, the methods, the trained dogs, and the results, everything I was looking for. The course he runs is not just text book regurgitation, he has his own theories, tested them on thousands of dogs and they work. Aggressive dogs, timid dogs, stubborn dogs, hyperactive dogs, any type of dog you can throw at him.

The methods are simple, they make sense, they are easy to use and the results are immediate - actually quite astounding.

Greg personally runs the courses and he has so many real life stories based purely on his own experience. I was totally fixated; he is so interesting to listen to.
